Come join us for a marathon or half marathon run along the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail in Vancouver, Washington. This race will be the fourth of five races in the Firecracker Five over the 4th of July weekend.

* an early start at 6:00am is available for anyone taking longer than 5 hours.


ENTRY FEE

Marathon (opening - April 15) $50.00 + processing fee
Half Marathon (opening - April 15) $45.00 + processing fee
Marathon (April 16 - May 31) $55.00 + processing fee
Half Marathon (April 16 - May 31) $50.00 + processing fee
Marathon (June 1 - raceday) $60.00 + processing fee
Half Marathon (June 1 - raceday) $55.00 + processing fee

Each runner will recieve a finisher's medal. The race will be capped at 100 runners. At least 25 spots are reserved for the marathon, at least 25 spots are reserved for the half marathon. Tech shirts are available for purchase for $15 until June 18th.

PACKET PICKUP

Packet pickup will be available on race morning Saturday July 7 starting at 6am. Packet Pickup will close 10 minutes before the start of each race. For early starters, packet pickup will open at 5:30am.

COURSE

The start/finish line will be located on the northside of David Douglas Park. For both the marathon and the half marathon runners will run a 13.1 mile out and back along the Burnt Bridge Creek Trail. For the marathons will run the out and back twice, for the half marathon runners will run the out and back once. The course will be well marked, but runners should be aware of the course. PLEASE NOTE: This is NOT a closed course and you will be required to yield to others on the trail and we ask that you not run more then two abreast. This is NOT a Boston Qulifying course and is designed to be a fun run and safety is our number one prioirty, so please be careful and cautious.



AID STATIONS

At the start/finish area there will be a fully stocked aid station. We will have water and Gatorade as well as possibly chips, cookies, gummy bears, jelly beans, pretzels among other things. A couple of unmanned water stops will be placed on the course.

TIMING

This race will be chip timed by Huber Timing. This means you will not have to worry about lap counting. Jeff Huber will do that for you!

AWARDS

All finishers will recieve a finisher's medal. There will also be additional awards to the top male and female finishers in the marathon and half marathon.
